Aspects of Mind 
Full cycle, at least one “sinusoidal wave” — among myriad, countless others! — may last for thousands of years. Depending on one’s degree of optimism, one can choose among teachers who prefer shorter periods of alternating light and darkness, a metaphor for oscillations in human consciousness and much more. One of the quickest cycles ever conceived: The Universe winking in and out of existence every trillionth second or so. Thus, we have a cycle so long one’s lifetime lasts for a blink of GOD’s Eye, another — a Divine Saccade? — negligible and ignorable, for all practical human purposes
Most of what I’ve encountered speaking to this timely topic places us somewhere in the [downer!] Kali Yuga, which may last 1,200 years — or less, subtracting the shoulder “sandhis”. No one seems to have devised a Western scientific proof one way or other, though I suspect Miles Mathis might, applying his “charge theory”, which seems compatible with those of Indian mystics/yogis. To date, I’ve found information in Sri Yukteshwar’s “Holy Science” most convincing. Given the state of our peopled world and the general condition of putative humans, it seems clear and convincing we shall not exit the Kali Yuga soon enough for most of us as currently incarnated. As John C. Carleton opines, there’s always graduation and THE NEXT TIME to which we can look with hope, expectation, and, yes, enthusiasm. So, indeed, let us rejoice!

Concerning your reference to waves, I was interested to learn that consciousness is not continuous — it is intermittent, like waves of light (discrete packets of photons). In fact as you likely know, physicist Peter Russell showed that ‘external’ and internal light (consciousness) are both absolute and of the same source.
As for determining where we are in the thousands of years-long yin yang (predominance of negative vs positive) political cycle, as in reading financial market cycles, I think that the most valid assessments are a product of science and art (objective and subjective knowledge). I was interested to read that (a) traditional beliefs about timescales of the four ages in Hindu cosmology are wrong due to miscalculations made by astronomers and astrologers and (b) many Hindu scholars believe that we have been transitioning into the Golden Age as of 2012 and that the inevitable apocalypse is very close. Long before I learned about this subject (the basis of the post We are entering the Golden Age https://evolutionofconsciousness.health.blog/2022/12/06/we-are-entering-the-golden-age/) I concluded via other lines of study that by the end of this solar cycle peak (no. 25) we will be in a Golden Age. In other words, within the next three years or so, we will either have our catastrophe and be in the Golden Age or we will be suffering brutal jew world government.
According to my reading of events, the jew is continuing to lose control as his intended ‘goyim’ victims wake up to jew evil. To my eye the trajectory is clear: Survivors will be in a Golden Age within a handful of years.
Fortunately, senior gentlemen like your good self and I should still be around to see whether the Solar Cycle 25 peak is indeed when the 2,000+ year Talmudic crime spree (Dark Age — Kali Yuga) ends and the Golden Age (Satya Yuga) starts or not.
Good man Alan, we can bet a pickled rabbit (cooked and packed into a jar with vinegar to survive postage) on the outcome. 🙂 If I lose, I will ask you to send me Pentobarbital / Nembutal (freely available from veterinary practices where you live) because I could not possibly live in a world of jew / Christian evil beyond this solar cycle peak.
